The art installation created at Launloc Gallery was a truly unique experience that aimed to engage the viewer in a tactile and instinctive way.
Placed in the entrance of the gallery, the installation forced anyone entering to pass through it, making it impossible to ignore.
I had a strong desire to create a work that not only stimulated the eyes but also other senses.Just like the urge to bite something very cute, the desire to touch and feel the art with our skin is a basic human instinct that connects us to the world around us.
The inspiration for the installation came from my fascination with the serpent-like shape that features in many of my artworks. To me, this shape represents a powerful and primal force that is deeply rooted in our subconscious.
