Fave&Chianti è un magazine per cannibali consapevoli e non. Intervistiamo chi il corpo lo mangia, lo produce, lo studia, lo è.

Tutti mangiamo. È sul cosa che non ci soffermiamo. F&C è il contorno ai vostri pasti, a volte potrà rivelarsi una vera e propria leccornia, altre ci sarà qualche boccone amaro. Di certo, nel bene e nel male, è proprio quello a esaltare il sapore…

Fave&Chianti is a magazine for conscious and unconscious cannibals. We interview those who eat, produce, study and are bodies.

We all eat. But we do not dwell on what we eat. F&C is the side dish to your meals, at times it can turn out to be a real delicacy, at others there will be some bitter bites. Certainly, for better or for worse, this is precisely what enhances the flavor...

Pensa a cosa ti fa venire fame. Preferisci la carne o il pesce? Gli insetti li hai mai provati? Mai dato un morso ad un tuo amico? Dopotutto, c’è differenza fra te e un pollo? Probabilmente sareste entrambi buoni, con un piatto di fave e un buon Chianti.

Fave&Chianti parla ai cannibali inconsapevoli, a chi mangia ogni giorno un corpo diverso dal proprio. Indaghiamo cosa (o chi) si ha nel piatto intervistando chi il corpo lo mangia, lo produce, lo studia, lo è. Alla fine, in tutti c’è qualcosa di buono.

Think about what makes you hungry. Do you prefer meat or fish? Have you ever tried insects? Have you ever taken a bite out of one of your friends? What’s the difference between you and a chicken? You'd both probably be good, with a plate of broad beans and a good Chianti.

Fave&Chianti talks to unwitting cannibals, to those who eat a body different from their own every day. We investigate what (or who) is on our plate, interviewing those who live, taste and produce bodies. In the end, there is something good in everyone.

La tradizione del consumare latte nasconde sistemi economici, accordi globali, valenze culturali, significati sociali… tutte cose a cui nessuno pensa mentre addenta un bel pezzo di mozzarella. E dopotutto va bene così, stiamo sereni mentre mordiamo, tagliamo, mastichiamo, basta però qualche domanda per smuovere il mondo che c’è dietro un alimento, anche quello che può sembrare il più semplice, banale, antico come il latte. Ecco servito il primo numero di Fave&Chianti.
