Las Mirabal | Call for international collage exhibition in Bogotá, CO.
In commemoration of November 25, 2024, "International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women", La Tijera Colectiva and Diáspora Ideas Migrantes have co-created an international collage exhibition. A creative bid to highlight the importance of female unity to achieve transcendent purposes. It embraces sisterhood and pays homage to all those women who from resistance, politics, love, creativity, collective creation and so many other branches of action, build a path for the women of today and those of the future.

The image of the call is a tribute to the Mirabal sisters, resistant women who fought against the Dominican dictatorship from 1930 to 1960, the year they were assassinated.
