They say you can't judge a book by its cover. However, I like to think a good cover can help the reader better appreciate the book within. When designing a cover, I like to get a good understanding of what the book is about so I can truly capture the feel of the content on the cover. Having that connection between the cover and the content is key to creating a whole package enhancing the reader's appreciation of the book they're investing their time into.
