I was inspired by Fabian Oefner's work with ferrofluid and wanted to attempt to produce an image. There is no way to predict how the magnetic slivers will respond to the magnetic field when ink is added. Every trial produces an entirely different image. Now that I understand the process, I am looking forward to creating more unique images with this process.
